As Maine's first Cabela's, we pulled out all the stops to bring a serious outdoor experience to the northeast. The Scarborough Cabela's is located off Haigis Parkway at Exit 42 of the Maine Turnpike. In addition to offering quality outdoor merchandise, the 130,000-sq.-ft. showroom is an educational and entertainment attraction, featuring museum-quality animal displays, huge aquariums, mounted trophy animals and an indoor archery test area. If shopping works up your appetite, be sure to grab a snack in our Express Cafe or snag a sweet treat in our Fudge & Nut Shop -- our fudge is made fresh daily! And because we love dogs, feel free to give yours some fresh air in our outdoor kennels while you shop.
After exploring our store, get out and explore one of the most beautiful areas in New England. Visit Higgins Beach, the Scarborough Marsh Audubon Center or the Scarborough River Wildlife Sanctuary and see all that the area has to offer.
