The Warne® Maxima Fixed series of scope rings fit Weaver- style cross-slot bases and incorporate the Warne stainless steel, square recoil key in both the front and rear rings. This ensures a non-slip positive recoil surface across the entire slot of the base enabling them to withstand extreme recoil, and, will not "wallow out" of the crosswise engagement groove in the base. The square recoil key also protects against swaging or peening of the base when used on softer or less durable materials. The band-width on Maxima rings is also wider than on conventional scope rings, giving you more contact surface between the scope and ring, which holds your optic sight securely in place. Instead of using only 2 screws per ring, as with many conventional rings, Maxima Fixed rings utilize four T-15 Torx socket screws for secure optics mounting. Warne Maxima scope rings are designed to fit Warne bases as well as all Weaver cross-slot and Mil-Spec Picatinny style bases and rails.
