Originally created by John Browning and produced from 1897 to 1935, the original 1886 Rifle is a legend in firearm design. The Taylor's & Company 1886 Far West Lever-Action Rifle brings the iconic lever gun into the modern age with modern metallurgy and a twist rate suitable for today's .45-70 Gov't loads. This rifle features a 26" octagonal barrel, case-hardened steel receiver, select-grade walnut stock, and checkered forend. Brass bead front sight and buckhorn rear sight. Receiver is drilled and tapped to fit a Lyman 66WB sight.
