Featuring an electric DC brushless motor, planetary gear system with a 27.3:1 gear ratio, and variable speed, this StrikeMaster auger can drill up to 3.6" per second (8" auger) or 2.5" per second (10" auger). A deadman safety switch kills the motor instantly, while forward and reverse modes let you work through anything. A built-in LED light is perfect for drilling before sunup, and the integrated bubble level makes its say to ensure your holes are straight. Soft-touch grips add comfort to the impact-resistant long-filament handles. The business end of the Maven features a lightweight aluminum hexagonal shaft with twin serrated stainless steel blades. Full-length segmented flighting uses a proprietary synthetic resin mold. Power Point keeps the drill in place so it doesn't jump around on you. A magnetic snap cover makes it easy to protect your machine's blades. Powered by a single 40V lithium-ion battery with a 4-LED status indicator.
