The Smith & Wesson® Performance Center® M&P® Shield X™ Carry Comp Semi-Auto Pistol with Thumb Safety represents the pinnacle of the Shield Series, offering a refined shooting experience and robust feature set. First and foremost, it features the PowerPort™ slide and barrel porting designed to direct gas upwards to counteract muzzle rise – keeping you on-target for faster follow-up shots. The stainless steel slide also features a factory optics cut for Shield® RMSc footprints along with aggressive front and rear serrations. The slide comes topped with an Ameriglo® Trooper Lumigreen luminescent front sight and blackout rear sight. The frame has also been upgraded with a reversible magazine catch, flat-faced trigger, and a longer more ergonomic grip that maximizes capacity. This model comes with the manual thumb safety.
