Use the slope card for detecting avalanche risk and determining hiking difficulty. The distance lanyard has 4 scales—1:24k, 1:25k, 1:50k, and 1:62.5—to measure the distance of your hike. Soft, bendable construction makes it easy to place directly on to your map route. DryFlex™ grip ensures easy handling in a variety of conditions. It has a clinometer for measuring slope angle, a built-in adjuster for magnetic declination, magnifying lens, and rubber friction feet for precision map work. Scales and markings on the Silva Ranger 2.0 Compass come in a clear contemporary font combined with transparency in the baseplate for easier navigation. Luminous markings enable night navigation when activated. The red and black, north and south lines in the capsule bottom promote easy and safe settling.
