The Savage® Mark II FVXP Bolt-Action Rimfire Rifle is ideal for target shooting, as well as picking off small game and pests with precision accuracy. The Mark II FVXP comes with a heavy-contour barrel, a drilled and tapped receiver, and a factory mounted and bore-sighted Bushnell® 3–9x40mm scope. Savage's AccuTrigger® enables shooters to obtain exceptional accuracy with the Mark II FVXP, by allowing you to easily adjust it to your desired weight of pull for a light, crisp release with no creep. A lever mounted within the trigger body blocks the sear unless the trigger is intentionally pressed in the center, virtually minimizing the risk of accidental discharge. The Mark II FVXP has a blued steel barrel and receiver, and a rugged and stable synthetic stock. Sling swivel studs allow you to carry the rifle with a sling, or attach a bi-pod to the fore-end. The bolt features dual extractors for positive extraction of spent cases. A detachable 5-round magazine allows for quick and easy loading and unloading of the firearm; a 2-stage safety allows the action to be cycled with it in the safe position.
