The Savage Arms® A22® Takedown Semi-Auto Rimfire Rifle is an awesome backpack rifle to take with you while camping, boating, hiking, or for simple transport to and from the range. The rifle comes apart simply with a twist. The buttstock offers storage of an additional magazine and the pistol grip features a space for dry storage. This purpose-built tool is excellent for your next adventure. The A22 Takedown offers an 18" carbon-steel barrel that has 1/2"-28 threads for the addition of a suppressor or muzzle device. The synthetic stock shaves weight and remains unaffected from the elements. Low-profile sights come on the rifle, as well as a Picatinny rail, which includes a see-through sight channel. The cross-bolt safety allows for familiar operation and the AccuTrigger® is user adjustable, between 3 and 5 lbs.
