Strong #50 Boron Steel construction and serrated edge on the side also allows you to saw and chop branches or clear brush. Its sturdy blade also locks at a 90° to the handle for use as a hoe or digging trenches, and features a notch in the blade tip for pulling up tent stakes or nails. Sturdy design combines a glass-filled nylon D-type handle, a lightweight 7075 aluminum shaft with a locking collar, and sturdy boron steel spade with rolled edges on the rear and side for additional strength.
