Made especially for the saltwater environment, Lew's® Custom Inshore Speed Spin Spinning Reel defies conditions that would cripple ordinary reels. Inside and out, it's built to maintain performance despite heavy exposure to sand, salt, and hard-charging fish. The corrosion-resistant exterior includes an all-aluminum frame and sideplate design, rugged C60 carbon skeletal rotor, and a braid-ready double-anodized aluminum spool; a built-in flush-and-drain port allows you to rinse away contaminants after your day on the water, and add treatments as desired. The high-strength Speed Gears® system incorporates a lightweight aluminum pinion gear and special passivation-treated main gear for added corrosion resistance; in addition, the 7-bearing system includes double-shielded stainless steel ball bearings, plus a Zero Reverse one-way clutch bearing, and the carbon fiber drag system is fully sealed to ensure strong, smooth operation at all times. Screw-in aluminum handle with Winn® Dri-Tac knob can be adapted for either left- or right-hand retrieve.
