Combining old-school appeal with modern manufacturing methods, the Henry® Color Case-Hardened .45-70 Gov't Lever-Action Rifle delivers classic looks in a highly capable package. Chambered in the potent .45-70 Govt, the rifle is capable of dropping anything in the Lower 48 – and looks good doing it. The steel receiver features a genuine color case-hardened finish – so no two are alike. The side loading gate provides rapid loading while retaining the original tube magazine to unload the rifle without cycling cartridges through the action. The Henry comes standard with a 22" octagonal barrel, finely checkered American walnut stock, automatic in-hammer transfer bar safety, and the receiver is drilled and tapped for optional scope usage. The barrel is topped with an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight and brass bead front. Ventilated rubber recoil pad. Sling swivel studs.
