Engineered with feedback from law enforcement, military personnel, and civilian shooters all over the world, the GLOCK® 19 Gen6 Optics-Ready Semi-Auto Pistol represents the pinnacle of the GLOCK handgun you know and love. Improvements include updated ergonomics, upgraded grip texturing, a new optics mounting system, and a new flat trigger with reduced reach from the back of the frame. First and foremost, the grip now features a palmswell built around the ideal average hand size along with new RTF6 texturing that's more comfortable and less abrasive. The trigger undercut is pronounced, allowing you to maintain a higher grip with more control. The textured thumb rests also aids in control. The trigger itself now features a flat blade and reduced reach from the rear of the slide – a nice upgrade for shooters who found the grip too big or blocky. That said, the trigger pull is identical to prior models. The optics mounting system is also significantly different. The G19 Gen6 comes with 3 optics plates that allow Trijicon® RMR-footprint optics to be directly into the slide. The new plates act as "crush washers" that allow the optic to sit deeper in the slide for a lower bore axis. In addition to the major improvements, the G19 Gen6 also sports a number of smaller enhancements that shooters have been asking for. The slide serrations are angled deeper into the frame for easier grip, an enlarged slide stop border prevents accidental activation, and a larger beavertail provides a higher hand position. Of course, your older 9mm double-stack magazines will still function in the Gen6, but it should be noted that older barrels are not compatible with the new model. Includes 3 magazines, 3 optics plates, and 2 extra backstraps of different sizes.
