Built like one of deuter's adult packs, this high-performance backpack offers a base storage of 2,441 cu. in. for gear with up to 244 cu. in. of additional space with its height-adjustable lid. Built for a young person, the pack's Aircontact back system employs dueter's VariQuick back length adjustment system to offer length adjustment from 13" - 18" for a perfect fit on the trail. This advanced back system lies directly on the body, keeping the pack's load close to your youngster's center of gravity, while providing cooling, comfortable ventilation at the same time. The Aircontact system combines mesh-covered pads and a large ventilation channel, along with ergonomic, padded, S-shaped shoulder straps with a Soft Edge finish and an adjustable sternum strap. This pack also utilizes an advanced flexible hip belt with pull-forward hip fins, load adjustment straps, and multiple compression straps to distribute and stabilize the pack's load. This highly functional design features an elasticated inner compartment for wet/sweaty clothing or hydration system (not included), a lid compartment, and separate bottom compartment with removable base. Pack also sports a walking pole holder, SOS label, zip bellows pocket, stretch side pockets, and material loops on the pack and lid. Made of a bluesign® 210-denier recycled polyamide and polyurethane-coated 600-denier polyester. Hydration compatible with up to 3L systems (not included).
