The reduced-flow spray head conserves and reduces water usage, only allowing 2 to 4 gallons of water flow per minute (much less than the average unrestricted water-hose flow of 12 GPM). Running the Waterer for 3 minutes to flush and clean the pail uses approximately 12 gallons of water compared to 36 gallons with a standard hose. Attach the included drain hose to direct overflow to flower beds, trees and shrubs. Includes 20-qt. pail, and 3' drain hose.
