Browning X-Bolt Max Long Range Bolt-Action Rifle

The Browning® X-Bolt® Max Long Range Bolt-Action Rifle comes factory enhanced for engaging targets with precision accuracy, at extended ranges. The composite Max stock adjusts for comb height to effectively align the long-range optic of your choice with your eye. The length of pull can be adjusted with the included spacers. The stainless steel, fluted, heavy-sporter-contour barrel features a threaded muzzle (5/8"-24), and comes equipped with a muzzle brake to tame recoil (also includes a thread protector). An Inflex Technology™ recoil pad keeps the buttstock firmly in place, and further reduces recoil for greater control on follow-up shots. An extended bolt handle facilitates cycling the action from field shooting positions. The X-Bolt utilizes a 3-lug bolt for exceptional strength and a short, 60º bolt lift, which provides a wide margin of space between your hand and the riflescope. A detachable, rotary magazine feeds each cartridge directly in-line with the chamber, instead of feeding offset as with conventional magazines. A wide forend offers stability when shooting off sand bags or a day pack; and 2 forward sling swivel studs allow the attachment of a bipod and a carry sling. The Browning X-Bolt Max Long Range Bolt-Action Rifle features a top-tang safety with a bolt unlock button that allows you to open the bolt for loading or inspection with the tang safety in the safe position.
