Built to shoot a wide variety of loads without adjustments, this sturdy shotgun holds up to long days of pounding heavy loads. Loaded with advanced Beretta recoil reduction systems, such as Kick-Off Mega, Kick-Off3, and Soft-Comb stock, the A400 Xtreme Plus reduces felt recoil by as much as 70%. Made of Steelium Plus steel, the barrel features an extended forcing cone for obtaining consistently tight and uniform shot patterns. The 7x7mm stepped rib on top sports a wider plane, along with an integral steel midbead and a fiber-optic front bead. An oversized charging handle and bolt release facilitate operation with cold, gloved hands, while the expanded and beveled loading port reduces thumb bite. The proven A400 action features a rotating bolt, and a self-cleaning piston to ensure the shotgun operates in all conditions with minimal maintenance. Under field conditions, the Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus easily disassembles with no tools in a matter of seconds. The cross-bolt safety is positioned at the front of the trigger guard, where the hunter can find it instantaneously, and is reversible for right- and left-hand shooters.
