Weatherby Mark V Hunter Bronze chambered in 240 WBY Mag. Features a 24-inch barrel and an adjustable trigger. The rifle is based on a 6-lug, push-feed action that has long been considered the strongest action in the world. The bolt has a very short rotation of 54° allowing for quicker reloads and the ability to mount scopes as close to the bore as possible. The forged, one-piece bolt is fluted and has relief ports and a full shroud to protect the user in the case of an ammunition failure. A smooth and silent two-position safety also serves as a bolt lock when in the 'SAFE' position. The polymer stock features a flat-bottomed fore-end, ambidextrous palm swells, aluminum pillar construction and is finished in a Black w/ Bronze Speckle. The barreled action is sealed under a shell of Burnt Bronze Cerakote, shielding it from the elements. A deeply fluted bolt with removable knob not only trims a little weight and helps clear dust and debris, but it also reduces the bearing surface within the action resulting in smoother operation. Includes a Leupold 1-piece base. No box.
