Winchester® designed the model SX3® Hybrid Waterfowl Semi-Auto Shotgun specifically for hard-core duck and goose hunting. The SX3 Hybrid Waterfowl gun comes with a synthetic stock and fore-end finished in the Realtree MAX-5® camo pattern, that's filled with cattails, reeds, cane, and grasses, which blends in perfectly to marshes, corn stalks, and most any waterfowl habitat. The barrel and receiver are finished in a corrosion-resistant, anti-glare matte black. The SX3 uses Winchester's Active Valve System™ that automatically self-adjusts, allocating the exact gas pressure necessary to fire a wide range of hunting loads—critical for any semi-automatic shotgun used by avid waterfowl hunters who hunt multiple species in varied habitats. When firing heavy magnum loads gases vent upward and out of the Quadra-Vent™ ports in the forearm, further regulating bolt speed. All SX3 semi-automatic shotguns come with an Inflex Technology™ recoil pad that effectively absorbs recoil, allowing you to stay on target with fluid follow-through shots till the end of the day. A hard heel insert on the pad makes mounting the shotgun snag free. The stock comes with shims and spacers to adjust for length of pull, cast, and drop at comb, providing individual shooters with a perfect fit. The SX3 uses the proven Invector-Plus™ interchangeable choke tube system that works hand-in-hand with the back-bored barrel to reduce shot deformation and promote the uniform shot patterns you need to wallop birds at long range. The SX3 Waterfowl shotgun's stock and forearm are slim and trim allowing for fast handling. A reversible crossbolt safety button is located on the rear of the trigger guard for quick access; and the trigger group easily drops out for field cleaning.
