St. Croix Imperial Salt Fly Rod and World Wide Sportsman Landmark Fly Reel Combo

The St. Croix® Imperial Salt Fly Rod and World Wide Sportsman® Landmark Fly Reel Combo delivers a rugged setup built to handle all your saltwater fishing applications.

Our World Wide Sportsman Landmark Fly Reel steps up with a fully sealed drag system boasting more surface area than you'll find on many saltwater conventional big-game reels. Alternating carbon fiber and stainless steel disks manage friction with ease, spreading heat across a wide surface area for smooth, consistent performance even under punishing runs. Built from cold-forged, CNC-machined 6061 T-6 aluminum, the frame pairs strength with minimal weight. A large-arbor design speeds up line retrieval and keeps your line memory low, so every cast and fight feels sharp and responsive. Subduing saltwater giants or freshwater brutes, this fly reel earns respect during the kind of fights anglers dream about.

Take on the most challenging saltwater fly-fishing locales with confidence wielding the lightweight, fast-action St. Croix Imperial Salt Fly Rod. Integrated Poly Curve (IPC) mandrel technology eliminates all transitional points in the premium, high-modulus SCIII carbon rod blank with a uniform wall thickness from tip to butt. This equates into a smooth action, increased strength, and greater sensitivity. A dual-layer coating of Flex-Coat slow-cure finish enhances blank strength. Slim-profile ferrules trim excess weight for an easy-casting feel. Sea Guide snake and stripper guides come PVD-coated for extra hardness and increased smoothness; stripper guides feature zirconia rings and deep-drawn frames. Other top-quality components include an uplocking, machined-aluminum reel seat and premium-grade cork handle. Sea Guide PVD-coated hook keeper adds rigging convenience. Comes protected in a rugged rod case with handle and divided liner. Mfrs. 15-year transferable limited warranty.
