A carbon steel barrel provides exceptional accuracy, and the tough polymer and aluminum slide keep weight to a minimum. Threaded barrel with thread adapter fits most 1/2x28 thread suppressors. The suppressor-ready model comes with M&P22 Compact Sound Suppressor adapter kit including adapter, installation tools, and thread protector. White-dot front sight allows rapid target acquisition, and the fully adjustable 2-dot white rear sight gives you the ability to make precise adjustments to dial in small targets. Aftermarket flashlights and laser sights easily attach to the Picatinny accessory rail. An ambidextrous manual safety and a reversible magazine release offer intuitive control and comfort for right- and left-hand shooters, while a magazine safety and internal lock provide an extra measure of safety.
