Shimano Trevala PX Split-Grip Spinning Rod - TVXSS70L

The companion rod for the deadly Butterfly Jigging technique is back, and updated for maximum performance. The Shimano® Trevala® PX Split-Grip Spinning Rod boasts a lighter, stronger, more responsive build than ever, with a split handle design for outstanding balance; its redesigned 1-piece rod blank features Hi-Power X reinforcing technology, which uses diagonally wrapped carbon tape in both directions to eliminate weak points and prevent twist when fighting big fish. This blank also has a crisp tip action that lends itself well to a number of specialized jig maneuvers. Durable SeaGuide zirconia guides handle braided line with ease. EVA handle grip for comfort. Though designed for jigging, you'll find the Trevala PX well-adapted to a range of offshore techniques using live bait or lures.
