LOVE this jacket!!

I work road construction and on the few dry winter days we have here in western WA its the warmest coat I have. It looks and fits good too (black)! I also bought my daughter one (deep wine). She lives in the colder/dry eastern part of WA and she loves it. Very comfortable and well made.

Warm and tough

I purchased this jacket in 2010, one size larger than normal so I could wear it with layers underneath. It's been a great work jacket! Love the hood (although it's a bit large), the gussets behind the shoulders for good range of motion, the length (I'm short-waisted w/ hips), and the cut. It does seem to be a bit small for a women's large, but I can still layer shirt and sweatshirt underneath and not feel that my movements are constricted. I've washed it several times with no noticeable shrinkage in the Carhartt's outer duck cloth, or the thick sherpa lining. Love the handwarmer pockets and inner zipper pocket too! Recently ordered a second one for my work partner, and she loves it too.

Heavy Duty Great

This jacket is heavy duty. Warm and wears like iron.
Great for winter camping, outdoor work, and any cold weather activity that you need a tough outer shell that can take rough wear. Love the blue color too.

I honestly couldnt ask for anything more! This jacket keeps me extremely comfortable, and warm. The overall fit, is perfect! Not too big, not too small. I love the fabric and deep color (I have it in Deep Wine).
