Sorel® Women's Glacier™ Boots

The Sorel Glacier is the perfect boot for serious cold-weather comfort. A full 15" high and comfort-rated all the way down to -100, these boots keep feet toasty warm. This incredible performance starts with Sorel's exclusive 13mm ThermoPlus System™ liner, constructed with three layers: polypropylene felt to wick moisture away from your foot, open cell foam for insulation and an outer layer of Radiantex. 13mm removable Meltdown Midsole™ fights off ground cold and supports your feet in comfort. Drawstring with bowlock closure is easy to manipulate with gloved or mittened hands. Natural rubber bottom with Aero-trac outsole for excellent traction. Rugged 1,000 Denier Cordura® nylon upper.

I bought a pair about ten years ago to wear during the winter out at the barn (twice a day from Oct through April). I finally had to replace them when the rubber was cracked on both boots. The current version seems to run a little smaller in the calf area than previous model, and the cinch top is a little different, but these are still the best quality for long lasting, warm, tall, waterproof boots.

Perfect boots for snowmobiling

Your feet will not get cold in these boots. They are a little heavy for just walking around but I purchased them for snowmobiling only.

Excellent Extreme Cold Weather Boot

These boots are excellent for Alaskan winter expeditions. They keep feet warm!! These are not boots for around town in the lower 48. If you're outdoors in the coldest weather conditions, then these may be your boots.
