I was excited about getting a great pair of boots for mucking in the mud with our cattle. I wear a 9 1/2 so bought a 10 and still couldn't get them on with my usual socks so had to wear thin socks. The boots rubbed into my shin bone so I stuffed rolls of toilet paper in them to stretch them out; didn't work so I cut the top off so they would fit without bruising my shin. They still were ill fitting. The moment I stepped into the mud my feet started sliding. I realized later that these boots have no tread. It was like skating on ice. Now it's back to my old black dairy boots, they're sloppy but at least I don't fall down in the mud. As a senior citizen, I don't need any broken bones from falling down. These boots were on sale and I thought I was getting a great deal, but they don't even deserve 1 star. I tried my darndest to make them work but when I couldn't keep my footing with them, I threw in the towel.
I have bought these boots for my kids for many many years worth of Ice fishing in the N.E. corner of MT. Never once did their feet get cold or wet. A day without a child complaining is a day of bliss. I will never buy anything else again.
My daughter put on these boots about 5 times and all the times the boots became wet from the side of heel! how can it be if the boots are made from rubber? i would not buy another ones.
