Bought this sweater for my husband. He loves it, very soft and comfortable, fits perfect. No itchy scratchy at all. Feels soft to touch and wear. Looks great alone or with a turtleneck underneath. Fantastic sweater, well worth getting.

This is a beautiful and warm sweater but it is not as soft as I anticipated, basing this notion on the description. I was skeptical when I read the words "wool" and "softness" to describe this sweater but I thought given the price and quality, maybe a wool sweater (this one in particular) would be soft. It is soft to the touch with my hand but when wearing it, it is very scratchy. I had this on for about 30 seconds standing still then moving my arms, stretching, reaching, and bending at the waist. Those 30 seconds were all I could stand wearing this itchy and scratchy sweater and I must send it back for a refund. Like I said, it is beautiful and warm but not very soft. I recommend this only to those who are not sensitive to scratchy fabrics and fibers.
