Insole sewn in askew
Date:
I tried these on with socks and they were SUPER COMFORTABLE! I decided to keep them and tried them without socks and found that the insole was sewn in askew so it was lumpy under my toes in one moccasin, thus the below average rating. Other than that, the lining looks and feels like a sock monkey and they are very cozy. I plan to exchange them.

Good for bad feet and orthotics wearers
Date:
I am a long (not wide) size 11 and these fit perfectly- they're snug when you first put them on but they begin to stretch within hours. I've had foot surgery and painful ankles- the rubber sole is a good shock absorber and offers support while still being comfy- eases the ankle pain Great for running outside to get the mail or even to the store because they look more like a mocassin than house slipper. The back of the shoe at the heel is a little high but I wear orthotic inserts in my shoes and so the added depth of the shoe is perfect- I also wear socks so there's no rubbing or blistering on the back of my heel. I highly recommend these over conventional house slippers especially for anyone with foot/leg joint problems.

Ouch!
Date:
I ignored the warnings in other reviews about how high up on the heel these moccasins came -- and regretted it. Just the style I wanted, but really, really uncomfortable. Darn it. I had to return them.

Best slippers. EVER
Date:
I am a slipper junkie. Wear them exclusively at home, and even take them with me when visiting friends because they're so comfortable. These slippers are the BOMB. Have bought 2 new pair every year for the last 3 years since I found them! I love moccasins, but they must A) have soles so I can wear them outside and B) must not have fleece or acrylic lining (makes my feet sweat). I buy one pair of size 8 for summer (no socks) and one pair of size 9 (with socks) for winter. They are true to size and incredibly comfortable. The Thinsulate is perfect to keep my feet warm in the winter without sweating, and even in summer I have no problem with them being too hot. Please, Cabela's, never EVER stop stocking them!
