Very Comfortable - True to Sneaker Size

I take a size 9 for sneakers & I ordered these sandals in a size 9 - perfect fit!

The sole material of the sandal is soft and squishy, like I am walking on foam. The bottom of the sole is a softer, durable, flexible rubber and provides excellent traction. There is also a molded arch in the sole, which provides me with excellent arch support. The stitching and material seem well made too.

I bought these for a trip to the Bahamas and I did not \u201cbreak them in\u201d first. They were very comfortable from day one, with one exception:

I gave 4 Stars because the hem where the material is overlapped and stitched on the left sandal is bunched/overlaid thicker than the right sandal. This stitched bunch of material is above the top of my toes and wears a raw spot every time I wear them. Fortunately, the straps are Velcro and I can adjust the straps to make the left strap looser.

I thought they needed to break in and stretch, but I have been wearing them since March and this lumped material is not getting any softer. I think too much material was overlapped and sewn together in this one spot to cause the lump. This is probably just a random flaw.

I would have exchanged them if I was closer to a store or had more time to receive another pair in the mail.

Overall, I think these are great and I would buy them again.
