Our Dry-Plus Ultra Rainwear enjoys a loyal following because it delivers incredible waterproof protection, go- anywhere versatility and it is affordable. When it comes time to store or pack for your travels, the fabric easily compresses into a small package that is virtually weightless. The key to its incredibly dependable waterproof performance is the exclusive layering system. The innermost layer has a light coating to reduce condensation. The outer layer incorporates a Dry-Plus membrane to block out moisture. The combination of these layers results in superior weatherproof performance combined with versatile packability. Tough, 100% nylon face fabric. Welted front zipper with interior storm flap. Oversized pockets with waterproof zippers. Includes individual stuff sack. Adjustable cuffs and hood. Imported.

We bought two of these parkas as our primary rain protection for a cross country bicycle trip. After the second rain, the surface no longer repelled (beaded) water along the arms and the back of the neck. This was true of both parkas. Then one started to let the left arm get soaked.
We tried a variety of waterproofing sprays and rinses, but they had little effect. We ended up having to buy clear plastic rain shells to wear over these parkas, to finish our trip. Very disappointed.

Very nice jacket

It\u2019s a nice jacket because it packs into a little compact pouch. The best part is the visor on hood. Instead of having a big bulking hood, you have a nice visor hood that has a draw string on it to make it fit more snug. It is a nice fitting jacket, because it\u2019s not big and bulky like other rain jackets.
