denim weight too light

The jeans are not the same as they were in previous years. The denim weight is much lighter which makes the jeans less warm. The fit is not the same either. The older version came up a little higher on the waist which I prefer and these pants are running very small.

Wonderful Warm Pants

I purchased more of these this year (2010) after purchasing some last year (2009). The only difference is that they run a bit smaller (size 8 this year fits like 6 last year) than they did last year but they are still warm. The seams are sewn so that there are no rough edges to rub against your skin when you wear these unlike some other fleece lined jeans that I have tried. The fleece in these seems to get warmer with each washing which offset my initial impression that the fleece seemed on the thin side. They are my go to pants in the winter for shoveling snow, walking around town and long drives when the weather is bad. (In case car breaks down or I get hit) In the fall of 2011 I will be ordering more of these excellent pants! Oh and the pockets are deep enough to put things in without them falling out when you sit down! Wonderful pants!

These are hands down the coziest jeans EVER! I was going to order flannel lined, but at the time they were out of my size, so I reluctantly tried Fleece, (fearing they would be really bulky and I would look like a cow in them) I was thrilled at the way they looked and how absolutely comfortable they are. They have good stretch, and even tho I ordered a size smaller than I usually am ( I was loosing weight at the time) they fit!!! As comfy as jammies for those cold days to come!!!
