Jacket beautiful and convenient, but only for a season spring-autumn. At temperature below 32F in it it is cold.

After reading the 1st review about how small this jacket runs I was really worried about the sizing. I normally wear a size L and started to order the XL (I have an XL Columbia rainjacket that I love) but went up to the 1X based on the earlier review. As I suspected, the 1X was way too big and I sent it back. My XL came in the mail today and fits nicely. The arms are slightly too long but nothing to worry about. The Blue is really pretty and the Leap Frog was a bit on the light-bright side. I can't speak about the warmth yet since we're approaching Spring here in VA but I'm sure that it will be just fine.

Runs VERY small!

I have a Columbia 3-in- jacket that I got 6+ years ago and love, but I got a hole in it. I ordered this one to replace it. I'd seen some reviews on other Columbia jackets that said they run small, but figured I'd be OK ordering the same size since I already own a Columbia jacket. WRONG!! The jacket I got is at least 2 sizes smaller than my old jacket. My old jacket I bought larger than normal so I can fit layers under it, the new one is the same size (on the tag) & I can't even get my arms in all the way! Construction looks nice, but jacket with both layers is lighter weight than I expected, not as heavy as my old jacket, or as heavy as I wanted it to be for Wisconsin winters.
