Próis® Women's Eliminator Rain Jacket

Próis hunting garments for women combine technical hunting components, functional fabrics and an athletic composition with patterns cut for the female form. The Eliminator Series Jacket is constructed of waterproof and breathable polyester to stand up to the grueling demands of hunting in wet weather. Besides having a watertight laminate on the shell, this jacket is remarkably soft and silent. Próis’ signature nylon tricot lining provides easy on and off and ease of movement. Taped seams and waterproof zippers with snap-down sliders keep you warm and dry. Hood has exterior elastic drawstring for optimal fit and peripheral vision. For extra coverage when sitting on wet ground, simply unsnap the innovative 12"  Ducktail. Made in USA.

Great Jacket!

I took this jacket and the matching pants with me on a 7 day hunt. It rained off and on every day of my hunt. I stayed 100% dry, and the duck tail was incredibly useful for sitting on during long periods of glassing. The lining in the jacket made it very convenient for layering and didn't stick to me during long hikes. I was very impressed!

Durable and keeps me dry

I've owned this jacket for a year; and have put it through multiple wet and soggy trials and tests. I usually like to run a complete season with an item before reviewing so that I can also test it's durability and see if it really will hold up. The Prois Eliminator jacket has!
In cold weather I layer up under it. In warm/hot weather it does not create the "sauna effect" that other rain gear has. Unlike the other reviewers , I have never had a problem staying dry, whether it was waterfowl hunting, HRC Hunt Tests, training dogs in the water, bowfishing etc.
The duck tail feature has been a butt saver sitting on buckets running waterdogs in the rain, out foraging, sitting in damp and wet duck blinds, and while fishing.
It has held up in all manner of wet conditions from the spring drizzles to torrential downpours. It is my go to jacket because of it's versatility and the fact that I can use it year round. I would however recommend ordering one size larger than your usual size if you intend to layer much under it during colder weather. The cut is flattering and feminine, but doesn't leave tons of room for layering.

I have had this Jacket since last winter and wore it exclusively while out flying~ perfect weight and fit for falconry, photography and hunting with a long bow. I have crawled through the snow in this and spend 2 days hunting turkeys in the rain and I did not have any of the not- water proof issues the other women spoke of ~ I stayed dry, warm and comfortable. Love the dove tail feature ~ but will agree that it is had come down on occasion~ but they are usually riding in a vehicle (siting on it and sliding in an out of the seat has caused it to unbutton when I didn't want it to) but I didn't get it for riding in a vehicle~ I got this coat to keep me warm and comfortable without the bulk~ when out in the woods. Thank you Prois for making such and outstanding and quality line of products for women who are serious about spending time in nature !

I put this coat to the test on a 7 day fly-in moose and bear hunt. The lining frayed, zipper broke (not just got stuck--BROKE), duck-tail feature snaps come undone at inoportune times. Not waterproof! My hunting partner had the same problems. Camo worked great, coat was comfortable (easy to layer under) and was quiet. Might be good for warm weather tree stand hunting. Ease of movement was nice for bow hunting.
