I love everything about these pants - with the exception of the rise (which IS high) but that's not a bother enough to reduce the stars.
My other half is actually jealous that he doesn't have a pair! LOL! Finally, something he doesn't have!
The pockets are super handy, they fit well, I love the material and they are really comfy!
I'd prefer the rise to be about 8". Not sure what the other complaints re: sizing are all about. I am normally an average 10 and I bought the 12 so I could fit my military weight thermals underneath and still have plenty of room. They are still roomy even with the layer underneath.

Great pants for summer. Hopefully they won't fade when I wash them. Many of the hunting clothing I buy from Cabelas does fade a lot.
