Bought mine in the store, wore out today for the first time. It was low 40s, but very windy. Glad I went with the uninsulated jacket - blocked the wind perfectly, ended up having to take off the fleece I had underneath, as I was too warm while hiking - even with the pit vents open. Jacket is very quiet and did not get snared on brush. Found it very comfortable and easy to move in.
I am so happy with my purchase of my rainwear jacket! Came just in time for our "big snow storm". I ordered two sizes bigger than normal because I find Cabels sizes are smaller form fitting and I like to wear my Cabels pullover underneath. I find that the multipul pockets were helpfull when I needed to carry my cell phone, camara, keys, and gloves. I love that the jactet zips all the way up to keep my neck warm. Between both pullover and jacket, I was very comfortable playing outside in the snow with my kids. What was pretty cool a week later, a neighbor two doors down came walking out in the same jacket! Copy cat ;o)
I am 5' 5" 150lbs. 36B. It fits great. no trouble moving my arms, plenty of space to wear insulated under garment with a hooded sweatshirt. Worth every penny! I wish the reviews of the other Outfither were the same! I hunt deer in November in Maine, its pretty cold most of the time. Not a good choice if you are sitting, if your walking and hunting- it will make you happy. No insulation, great shape and quality. Mostly waterproof, wet snow on trees, did not wear it in the pooring rain.
Just received my new gear in the mail. I am always hesitant purchasing online, but I live in Hawaii and there aren't any stores that carry a selection of women's hunting gear. Pretty happy with the sizing of the rain jacket and pant. I have a smaller frame, 5'5" and about 120lbs. Petite cuts are usually too small and the hems are usually too short for me. I ordered a Med jacket and the fit is perfect. There's still room to wear a tshirt, long sleeve or fitted sweater under it. Material feels great, and the hand pockets fall in just the right place. Perfect lighter jacket for warmer climates. Any thicker, and it might be too hot for our weather. Our "winter" started this past weekend, so I'll soon see how it stands up to the rain. Love the underarm zippered mesh vents. Zipper starts about 4" up arm to the armpit and continues about 6" down your ribs. Velcro adjusts wrist opening, one inner chest pocket, two outer chest pockets. No more men's small or boy's xl jacket for me!
