I have worn these bibs for the entire 2011-2012 waterfowl season. I put them through every weather condition possible (same with the matching parka). The bibs run small..the height is way off. But I did get a pair that fit before season began. The drawbacks were that they added quite a lot of bulk, maybe it just seemed that way because they soak up every drop of water in the air. The lack of waterproofing is devastating. Overall, they look good, and feel good...as long as it's not at all humid/rainy. Which, as a waterfowl hunter, typically means a bad day in the field. Definitely needs improvement. I hope Cabela's takes all of these reviews into consideration and improves the product because it has a ton of potential!
They run small, like the matching parka. The zippers on the legs should come all the way up to the top of the legs for easy boot on and off. Its easier to just take your bibs down than to struggle with the back drop seat . These are for a woman that wants to be more fashionable . They are warm and all, but not what I need in the woods. These would be good for young hunters who aren't concerned with details as i listed.
I ordered a medium, according to the size chart, for a Christmas present to my wife. It arrived on time, but size was really too small. Reordered an XL thinking that would be bordering on too big. WRONG-O!. Still too small and it looks like the 2XL is on 22 week backorder...Usually Cabela's is spot on, but this time they are off the chart.
I purchased these for my sister-n-law, she is 5'4" and 125 lbs. Ordered her a medium and they where to tight. Reordered a large and still to tight. Told her she will have to make a trip to a store and try larger size or look at mens bibs. Very disappointed. Cabelas has always been very good quality and mens sizes are very good, but they need to look at their womens line of clothes.
