Comfy, but they don't last long with heavy use.
Date:
I have worn these 3-4 days a week for the last year and they have been great. After about 6 months the inside fabric started to come apart. I wear them with nice smartwool socks and they are fine. After about 10 months they started to crack on the outside on the top of the foot, which allows water and cheat to get inside the boot. They were great right out of the box, but I did read the other review and bought a size bigger than normal and they worked great.
I would suggest buying an extra pair of those gel inserts if you will be walking over rocky terrain, because after a few hours you will be feeling every rock like you would if you were barefoot.
They stay pretty warm if you keep moving and the snow or grass is not the heavy wet variety.
Overall, they are great boots for the price, but don't expect them last if you hike often over rough terrain.
They offer great ankle support and are very light.
I wore them all summer and they weren't too hot, even know they have insulation. My favorite part was that they did not smell bad when I took them off after a six mile hike in the middle of the summer.

600 Gram LadyHawk
Date:
I purchased these boots for squirrel hunting with dogs, which involves lots of walking in cold, wet, icy weather in the mountains of eastern Kentucky. I had a terrible time finding a pair of hunting boots that were made for women. I normally wear a size 7, but purchased a 7 1/2 because the 7 was a little snug. The 7 1/2 fits perfect with a pair of wool socks. I wore them about five times to break them in a little because they are stiff at first. They rubbed above my ankle around the top of the boot; however, I left out the top two laces a few times and now they fit perfectly.
The first time I wore these boots squirrel hunting, I was wearing a thin pair of cotton socks. The temperature was 21 degrees and the wind chill was 9. The dog we were trying out did not move very fast on the hard, frozen ground, so we did not do very much walking. My feet almost froze off!
The next day we went hunting and I purchased a pair of merino wool socks to wear with them. The temperature was about the same, however, we walked for 8 hours straight. This time, my feet stayed toasty warm, and the merino wool kept my feet nice and dry. I even walked through creeks that were almost as high as the tops of the boots and they didn't leak! I walked through briar and cedar thickets and up and down cliffs and steep creek banks with no trouble. The traction on these boots is great...no slipping no matter what the surface. The only problem was that I am used to wearing a lighter hiking boot and my legs hurt and cramped after walking for this amount of time; however, my feet stayed comfortable, warm, and dry all day!
In conclusion, the Irish Setter LadyHawk 600 gram boot is a great hunting boot for women. I was thrilled to finally find a boot that is made for women who like to spend time outdoors! These boots are waterproof, warm (as long as you keep moving), and very well made. Thank you Irish Setter for thinking of us ladies who enjoy hunting!

Fantastic Boots!
Date:
I bought these boots in the summer, intending to break them in to be ready for hunting in the fall and I just didn't get around to it. That being said, I wouldn't recommend breaking in a brand new pair of boots on the opening day of elk season, but that's exactly what I did. Right out of the box, they were comfortable. I have never worn a better pair of boots - they keep my feet dry and warm without being too hot. This is a great product at a great price.

Awesome versitile Boot for women
Date:
I have had a pair of these boots for almost a year. I went on a hunting trip in Alaska a few years ago and never found a boot that was comfortable or wear worthy. I bought these boots before last deer season hoping for a great boot but not expecting much. This has been the best pair of women's boots I have ever purchased!!! I wore them throughout deer season and I still wear them on occasion on rainy days. They have not leaked! I am purchasing another pair for back-up before an elk hunt. I recommend wearing Wool Blend socks with them, because it adds extra warmth without being too hot.
