My dad bought me these boots before our Antelope hunt in Wyoming. Every boot we ever bought has hurt my feet and made it very hard to walk long distances. We covered miles of hiking in Walk-in hunting areas and my feet felt great. I took a buck antelope that was a little short of a Boon and Crocket. If it wasn't for my feet being so comfortable, I would never had been able to walk so far. These boots are so comfortable!!
I have had these boots for several years now and can honestly say that I have never had cold feet while wearing the Infernos. My feet tend to get cold faster and stay cold longer than the rest of my family so I was looking for a boot that had what I needed to hike through rugged elk and mule deer country, but that I could also wear as my primary winter footgear for feeding ranch critters and various other winter activities.
I've found the Infernos to have decent traction and while there's not a ton of extra support throughout the ankles, I've worn them extensively on extended-season Dec/Jan elk hunts and been comfortable. Below-zero or above zero, dry or snowy, these boots have stood up to the weather and been just what I needed.
