Merrell-engineered hikers specifically for women’s feet. Exclusive Q-Form construction gives these hikers a fit and feel that conforms to women’s feet and complements your unique walking gait. Slip lasted for athletic-shoe performance with rugged nubuck and mesh uppers for a perfect balance of durability and breathability. Compression-molded EVA footframes surround feet in protection and support. Breathable polyester mesh linings are treated with antimicrobial Aegis® that keeps them fresh. Vibram® rubber outsoles ensure traction. Imported.

Excellent Walking Shoe

I walk a minimumof 30 minutes a day,and this product has the support and comfort of a sneaker, yet it is durable and looks good too. Not too clunky looking, very light-feel on my feet. I'm on my fourth pair, as I wear them constantly. Served me well during a bout with some low-back pain also.

Not sure about these shoes

I usually LOVE Merrell brand shoes but for some reason I am having the hardest time breaking these shoes in. I've had them for about a month now and they are still not broke in. I can only wear them for casual use--I wore them one day touring on vacation and just about died. My feet were hurting so bad for a week after.
I think the problem is that the heel is higher than the toe of the shoe, forcing my foot forward, making my toes rub against the toe of the shoe.
Anyhow, they are cute shoes and I still wear them out for small trips to the market or to a movie but will not wear them for any extensive walking ever again.

great shoe!

i am a physical therapist and work 8-5 on my feet all day. i have bought 2 pairs of these shoes in 2 yrs and am about to buy my 3rd pair. my feet and legs do not hurt at the end of the day and it is wonderful. they last about a yr... and that is literally wearing them 3 days a wk for 8-12 hrs a day. they are also good looking as casual shoes.

I am a hairdresser and I bought these basically because I loved the looks of them, and wanted a new pair of shoes. I work on my feet all day, on the days I wear these, my feet never, ever bother me. In fact, I ususally end up wearing them right up until I get ready for bed! They, from the start, were confortable. No "Break in" period. Highly recommend these if you work on your feet, or if you just want a great pair of comfy casual shoes. Get compliments on these all the time.
