If you want versatile footwear that can take you from the hiking trail, to the running trail or gym equally well, the Reflex is for you, and you'll find it only at Cabela's. Hiker toughness meets running-shoe comfort in a mid-high-top design that stabilizes feet on any terrain. Waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX lining keeps out water yet allows perspiration vapor to escape. Waterproof nubuck leather/pigskin uppers have reinforced toe bumpers for extra durability and protection. 4.5mm anatomical footbed conforms to your foot's shape, and an Air Cushion® midsole offers superior cushioning. Microinjection external heel counters, injection-molded shank supports and compression-molded EVA footframes add support. Reflex® outsole promotes traction both uphill and downhill on nearly any surface.

Great hiking boot

I bought this pair of hiking boots for my daughter. We are going on a Catholic youth leadership retreat in Colorado this summer and will be doing plenty of hiking. We have been training already and the first time she wore the boots she said she loved them. They are light weight, very comfortable and did not really need any break in. We hiked 2 hours first time out in these boots and she loved them.

Best all around shoe for Western Colorado

This is the best shoe I have ever owned I had a pair for 3 years and finally wore a hole in the bottom of shoe they are bullet proof for a day to day shoe. I will only by this shoe Merrell fit me when I put them on and they stay comfortable all day long. I use my old ones for fishing and anytime I want to trash a shoe and I stll have a shoe to come home in.

great boot, great customer service

I have been through many hiking boots and I didn't want to spend as much money as the Merrell's cost. As soon as I tried them on, I felt like I was walking on air! I decided to bite the bullet and spend the money. I have had them for almost three years and they have been wonderful. I just noticed yesterday that they are torn where the leather meets the rubber sole. I called Cabela's and they told me they would exchange them as long as the tear was at a seam (meaning it was defective). I am so happy about their customer service because for the price, I was hoping they would last me longer than this. I totally recommend this boot as well as Cabela's!
