When master boot maker Alfons Meindl finished this series of boots for us, he had one word to describe it – "Perfekt." At its heart is a layer of natural cork that not only protects your joints from shock, but also molds to your feet for custom support. Added to this are Poron™ heel inserts that resist compression for even more shock absorption and a comfortable walking stride. A moisture-managing layer over the footbeds draw moisture away and transfers it to a dispersing layer, so your feet remain dry and comfortable. Full-grain nubuck uppers lined with 100% waterproof/breathable GORE-TEX® membranes keep the sloppiest elements sealed out. And the DIGAfix® lacing system snugs the boots around your instep and heel, eliminating slippage without pinching or binding. Rugged polyurethane midsoles add an additional layer of comfort, and the Multigrip® rubber outsoles offer no-slip traction on loose terrain. Uninsulated for comfort in warmer temperatures. Made in Germany. Height: 7". Average weight: 3.6 lbs./pair. Women’s sizes: 5-10. Half sizes to 10.
I've tried a few different Cabela's boots and these BY FAR are the best ones! I have a pair of the Cabela's outfitter women's boots and I don't like them because they are too big and too heavy. I normally wear a size 7.5 in women's and was warned that a 7.5 in these boots might be too big. I ended up buying a 7.5 women's boot and wear boot socks with them and haven't felt like they are too big. I have hiked around a few different days on hunts and haven't had issues with them. :o)
I hate boot/shoe shopping! I have a hard to fit foot, short, fat, and a high arch. I phone ordered these and had I read the reviews before ordering, I would have ordered a half size smaller. However, they fit great out of the box and after wearing them all day, (with my own hand knit wool socks), my feet feel great. These were purchased with hunting in mind and will be used in some rough country.
Bought these for my wife. We went to Cabels's, as I wear this brand and knew they run large . She said they are most comfortable boot she has ever owned. They are simply the best walker/hiker boot you can own.
