I just got these recently and am looking forward to wearing them, a lot. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried them on. I ordered my normal size (8) and they are loose, but they are supposed to be. (I imagine..or that is how I want them to be anyways.) They are comfy, modern looking, make your backside look flattering, have some great pockets, and are the perfect length (I am 5'7"). Also, I am glad they are all cotton, because I miss pants like this! I've been looking for a while, and am glad I came across these. I would love to see more color options!
I have a hard time finding pants I like so I didn't have high hopes when trying these on but from the second I got them on, I knew these were great.
I love that there is no stretch like so many pants out these days, the rise is perfect (not too high that it's annoying but not so low that I'm playing plumber when sitting down), the length was perfect and the look great on.
Like a lot of Cabelas brand clothing, I went up a size (I'm normally a 4 or 6 depending on the brand/cut) and got an 8, although really, I could have been okay with the 6.
My only complaint is that these don't come in a darker chocolate-brown color. I have the avacado and am seriously considering the taupe since they fit so well, even though I don't usually wear any pants that light of a color.
I love the fabric, which is light, the snaps instead of velcro pocket flaps, and the size of the cargo pocket is big enough for glasses (what I use them for) BUT the waist is a low-ish rise and the sizing is ample, so these are too big. if you ever actually put 'cargo" in your cargo pockets you know the weight tends to pull your pants down, so if the waist band isn't above your hips, you have to cinch your belt pretty tight to keep them up. I am disappointed the catalog description said nothing about the rise. I am 50, average height and weight (and I detest low rise pants) so I sent them back.
