I really like the look these boots; I love the style, but no matter what I did they were ill fitting and uncomfortable. The heel of the boots is very stiff and rubbed my ankle bones. Adjusting the ties both tighter and looser made no difference; tried different boot socks too. They seem like high quality boots, the leather is very soft inside. I really hated to have to return them. But I was afraid they would never break in and then I would be stuck with them. Maybe for someone else, with more meat on their foot, they will fit better. I bought 7.5 and that was the correct fit. Somewhere I missed there is a zipper on the inner side of the boot. I would have preferred no zipper. The shoe tongue is not connected to the boot; I think snow could easily get inside the boot. Liked the color.
