Cabela’s Women's Winterchase II 13" Shearling Sheepskin Boots

The incomparable plush comfort of genuine shearling wool next to your feet is a real treat. Shearling is a superior insulator with inherent temperature management properties that keep feet dry and warm. It also wicks perspiration away when weather warms up. These boots are made using real double-faced shearling. Even the cozy footbeds are shearling-lined as well. Nonmarking, slip-resistant rubber outsoles for sure footing. Imported.
Women's sizes: 6-10 medium width.

I have bought this boot two times before and this time i ordered a black pair for myself and a shorter pair for my daughter in law. This year's boot is not the same. The sole is different and is not as stable as the older boots. The sheepskin is not as lush. The overall feel is stiff and hard as compared to the older version which was soft, lush, stable, and very cozy.

I got these 2 months ago in black and love them so much I just got them in taupe too. They are warm, comfortable and good looking! They are tall enough for my very long legs and yet snug enough to keep my foot secure. Great non skid soles too! No more "fashion" boots for me- only Cabela's!!! Feel great, look great and wear really well!!!

I bought a pair of the winterchase boots a few years ago and they were the best boots ever! I even sold my uggs because they didn't compare. I bought a new pair in black about a week ago and they are so not the same! The shearling is not as soft and cozy as my old pair, they changed the sole on them, which makes them run smaller now and they are not as comfortable either. Overall, while they may look similar to my old pair, they do not compare to my old pair. Sorry Cabelas, these are sub par to the boots you made a few years ago!
