Install this winch easily on your existing bumper. System consists of winch and frame that plugs into standard 2" Class III receiver hitch on front or rear of vehicle. The heart of the system is the Warn XD9000i, a heavy-duty electric winch with 9,000-lb. pulling capacity for medium- and heavy-duty applications. Heavy-duty wound motor. 125 ft. of 5/16"-dia. cable. Remote control on a 12-foot lead. Pre-wired and completely assembled for easy installation. Made in USA.

Bought the multimount so I could use the front or rear receiver...Note to all, assembly is required.
Some of the cable unspooled, hooked the electrical up and nothing. Double checked and triple checked my installation procedures, still nothing. Called Cabela's, they were very helpful, offered to replace the winch. So I started to disassemble the unit to return. After I put the original wires back on, it worked fine. I found the problem to be in the "quick connect disconncet" wire kit that came with the unit. Put the electrical tester to them, they read OK, but there is a serious fault there as my unit will not work with it..
Really a good winch and idea - on the back receiver, winch youself out of trouble, (back up), or for more adventure, winch forward.
Heavy unit, but the guts this winch has is well worth the weight.

The winch works great and since its a receiver mount i don't have to lug it around when its not needed. It would be nice if it was lighter,(120 lbs) but I can live with that,

I really lke the fact i can use from front or back of my truck. Worked great to pull my 3/4 ton diesel truck out of my ex wifes yard. Also worked great with dual reciever hitch for pulling vehicles onto a trailer. This thing is just what i was looking for
