Keeper ATV Tree Saver Winch Strap

Wrapping your ATV's winch cable around a tree to pull free of trouble on the trail is effective but can damage the tree or kink your winch cable. Place this handy and very affordable 6-ft. strap around the tree, then connect your winch hook to the strap loop for a tree-friendly way to pull your ATV out. It's a super-tough, 2"-wide strap capable of pulling vehicles up to 8,000 lbs. out of problem areas.

For securing your recreational vehicle these are the best ratchet strapes I've ever used. Best features are. Length- just the right lenght to get the job done but not overly long that you have six plus feet of extra strap do deal with. I love the D ring and J hook latch on each end. Wrap the strap around your item and clip onto the D ring. No Metal touching your machine. And the J hook latch keeps the hook from falling off your attchment point. Strenght- 3000 lbs. breaking point. Ratchet- It works as it should. I've used other ratchet straps and it always seems you have to fight them to get the strap to release. Not with these straps. Highly recommend this product.

I used the tree saver strap on a couple occasions when pulling an old refrigerator off a steep hillside.
I got to points where I wasn't able to position the UTV winch so I had to use come alongs. The strap on 2 differant occasions was too short to fully wrap around the only trees available, but enough so I could squeeze the come along hook in both loops,but the tip of the hook dug into one of the sides of the loop end. I thought for sure the hook would puncture through the loop when pressure was applied and I would have a new unusable strap, but to my surprise the loop held, the hook did not puncture through and the strap will live on for better purposes. A great product. Could it have been longer.......yes, but then again, what is too short?
