These work OK as weights, but they are awfully noisy on a rocky bottom. I can hear them clicking on the rocks from 30 feet away, and I have watched steelhead spook away from them. I have switched back to lead for the small rivers. I will probably only use these on a sand or mud bottom, or in the bigger rivers where I'm suspending under a float. If we need to go non-toxic, someone needs to come up with a way to make them quieter. Sizes, shapes and price are all OK.
These sinkers do their job. They sink. They are big & bulky. I do lots of river fishing where snags are everywhere and the size of a sinker counts. These were simply to large for my liking. However I cannot give them a bad rating because they do hold up better that the lead sinkers. They just don't work for the type of fishing I do.
