Very Happy
Date:
I purchased this generator after looking and looking!! I read the reviews on this one and all seemed to be positive!! I bought it and couldn’t be more pleased!! We take it to ATV parks for 4 day weekends and run it on and off depending on toy hauler needs!! It starts one first or second pull every single time!! A friend brought out a Honda EU2000i and put it next to mine!! Both were running and we couldn’t tell a difference it noise!! When he found out he paid almost 3 times for half the generator he wasn’t to happy!! Plus mine had wheel kit and handle to move it around with ease!! His did have the Honda name on it!! I have had 2 friends since that trip go to Cabela’s and purchase them one also!! SO FAR SO GOOD!!

Just my luck
Date:
Bought this from local Cabella's store. Easy set-up.
Followed instructions for starting and it fired up on 3rd pull. Ran it about 10 minutes - ran smooth. Shut it down and put away until a few days before our first camp trip with it. Decided to give it another fire-up before the trip.... The very first pull on the starter handle (in essence my 4th since purchase) the cord broke about 6" down from the handle! It appeared to have rotted through. Not wanting to hassle taking it in for exchange over that, I pulled the starter cover off and pulled up some more cord from the pulley. It was obviously worn/weathered looking, although not appearing to have been "used". I got it retied to the handle after removing the broke off end. Getting the pulley back on and the handle slack out was a pain. The handle kept wanting to hang down about 4". I will likely go to hardware store and buy some new cord and completely restring it, since the cord it came with still showed some fraying. Very peeved that this had happened with virtually no use. Will post more after the trip....

Hard to beat for the money
Date:
Got the generator to use with our travel trailer and for those times the power goes out. My intial efforts at starting took several tries. Since then it has started on first or second pull every time. Only quirky thing I have noticed is when it starts you have to quickly turn the choke off or it will quit. And if it does quit then you have to leave the choke off to get it to start.
Was sort of worried about the noise level but it really is not that bad, not the quietest but not too loud either.

Received as gift from parents for the annual Talladega NASCAR camping trip my friends take. Started this gem up late afternoon Wednesday, hummed without a hiccup until we turned it off to come home Monday morning. It is NOT a Honda, so yes you will hear it. That being said, we had camp set up and watched a neighbor get his set up running. We were standing next to the stereo with the champion 10 ft. behind us. We saw the neighbor start his generator. We then could hear his quite noticeably, which was no less than 30 yards away!! Keep in mind there are generators all over down there so we were very impressed with how it preformed. 4-5 of the folks in our group actually liked the constant hum as it acted as a buffer from the ones continued the Talladega party until 5 a.m. each night. Our crew was usually turning in around 3 a.m., up around 8a.m. Last one to bed would top off the gas tank, then it would be topped off once it was about 1/4 tank during the day. Overall, just get it. You WILL NOT be disappointed.
