You cant beat for the price. It does everything Ineed it to do for bow hunting deer and if I can't kill a deer within 400 yrds with a rifle in MS I dont need to be hunting. You can't beat it for the price.

not long range
Date:
This range finder is only good for bow hunting. When I took it out west on a Elk hunt the max it would range was 150 yards. I had to borrow a range finder from a hunter that had already killed his Elk. When I killed my bull it was 350 yards without the Nikon 550 I borrowed it would have just been a guess. If you are going out west get a better range finder.

good for your first
Date:
This rangefinder is a good first buy. Archery hunters can use this without any problems, once you get out past 150 yrds it get hard to hold steady and the 4x eye piece is not strong enough.
