I bought this paddle for my wife to use. Smaller in width and light weight. It could have had a little more finishing a bit rough and not enough clear coat on it.

I was looking for economical paddles so the kids and grand kids would have something that if lost, broken or damaged wouldn't cause too much anguish. While the paddles are functional, the finish requires some sanding and steel wool to make them serviceable. One paddle has a split out near the handle end (unsightly but not a functional problem).
I am disappointed in the quality of the item, which is the first time I have experienced this from a "Cabelas" product!
