Unlike other dry bags, the Big River Dry Bags are made with abrasion-resistant 420-denier nylon fabric, not PVC. That means they’re easier to bend and control, but remain as watertight as traditional dry bags. The oval shape and low-profile design keeps them from rolling all over the boat when packed. Hypalon® lash loops allow for secure attachment or stacking. Imported.

You get what you pay for. Anyone who thinks they can save a couple bucks by using cheaper bags has never paddled in 3 ft waves with precious cargo like electronics, cameras, food & dry clothes on board. These are lightweight, sturdy and most important, 100% waterproof. They compress down to save space, can be shoved into a bulkhead or easily strapped to a deck, and you can be sure your goods will arrive at your destination dry even if you are soaked.
I bought the 65L and 13L bags to pack camping gear on my motorcycle for a trip through Glacier and Yellowstone. Kept my sleeping bag and other gear dry and the lashing bands made them very easy to secure to the bike.
I recently purchased the 65 Liter Sea to Summit Big River Dry Bag to use primarily for fishing. I first used it for this year's Wisconsin fishing opener. Being that Wisconsin's weather can change from snow and 30 Deg F to sun and 70 Deg F, I like to pack a little of everything so I am prepared. With the capacity and the fact that it is waterproof, I was able to pack my rain gear, my Cabela's parka, my video camera, my cell phone, and snacks without worrying that they would get wet. A really nice feature about this bag is that if it was only 1/4 full, I could fold it from the top all the way down to the contents to keep the bag and its gear compact for easy access. I would recommend anyone who wants to keep their gear dry and compact should look at what these bags can offer.
I used this bag as a liner for my backpack during a goat hunting expedition to SE Alaska. We faced several days of rain. This bag was light and kept spare clothes and sleeping bag dry the entire time.
