Cabela's P.I.T. Jacket

When waterfowl season hits, it’s the perfect setting for us to develop new products. Through hours of hunting in pit blinds, we developed, designed and put the finishing touches on the perfect P.I.T. (Performance, Innovation and Technology) jacket. Made from Cabela’s-exclusive fabrics, the P.I.T. series is ideal for wearing over waders, under waders or even alone. The upper part of the garment features a waterproof and breathable Dry-Plus® fabric. The lower part is a bonded two-layer WindShear™ fabric that’s warm, lightweight and totally windproof. The unique combination of these two performance fabrics creates the perfect waterfowling jacket. The Jacket sports 100-gram Thinsulate™ Insulation for extra warmth when the temperature drops at the end of the season. The full cut also allows for layering during those cold-weather hunts. The zip-off hood adds extra protection for bitterly cold days. Chest handwarmer pockets are positioned above your waders for easy access. Drawstring waist keeps the jacket snug inside waders, and keeps cool breezes out when worn alone. YKK® zippers. Imported.

Super jacket warm and light, haven't had it in the rain as yet, but expect it will preform as promised. Would have given 5 stars but needs and inch and a half more in length. I wear a large and it's a bit short. Even with that I would purchase again.

This jacket was excellent this year. So long as you throw a layer or two underneath you'll be just fine. I'm a big sissy when it comes to cold weather. This jacket and a pair of poly pros did the trick to beat the cold.

I've been using this jacket for 3 seasons now. I've worn it with & without waders. Not only is it the most comfortable hunting jacket I own, it is the most comfortable jacket I own, period! I have worn this in the rain a few times as well, and it has kept me dry.
